Students auditing courses will receive a grade of “AD” which may not be changed at a later date to a letter grade for credit.
If you are a current UTHSC student enrolled for credit courses you may elect to audit a course with instructor consent. Please obtain the instructor’s and Dean/Student Affairs signatures on the Add/Drop form and take your request to the Office of the Registrar for data entry. Students may not register for courses they wish to audit using UTLINK. Auditing a course is not free of charge. Students will be assessed an audit fee of $25.00 per course.
If you are not a UTHSC student and are interested in auditing a course at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences or the School of Public Health, follow instructions outlined on the appropriate forms. Fees vary among schools. Please refer to the appropriate chart to obtain additional information.
