| Student Service Fee: includes access to (1) the UT Recreation Facility on Knight Road and the Fitness Center on the 8th floor MSB, (2) UT Health Services in UPB 510, (3) UT Shuttle Buses, (4) Student Government, and (5) UT Student Counseling Services in UCT 1600. The Student Health Service includes without charge sickness visits, physicals, gynecologic exams, treatment for needle sticks, and immunizations (excluding hepatitis B). The Student Health Services does NOT include free xrays, medical procedures, prescriptions or laboratory work. Student Health Service is not to be confused with medical health insurance. |
| Health insurance is required of all Health Science Center students. If you have your own health insurance policy, you may provide proof of comparable insurance coverage to Auxiliary Enterprises no later than the 12th class day to have this charge waived. The waiver form may be obtained from the Registrar's Office, Auxiliary Enterprises, or by clicking on this link: Health Insurance Waiver form. | Family members may be given access to the recreation facility and/or health care center at an additional cost during the enrollment times listed on the Calendar. If family coverage is desired later in the academic year, please contact Ronda DeGraff or Diane Cupples, at 713-500-8400, in Auxiliary Enterprises located at the Recreation Center on Knight Road. |
