Tuition Descriptions

Legislative Tuition (Resident and Non-Resident tuition) is established by the Texas legislature .

Designated Tuition includes an amount designated for capital renewal, deferred maintenance projects, and bond retirement for expansion of buildings.

Designated Supplemental Tuition is established by the local governing board for effective operation of the institution. A percentage is set aside for financial aid for undergraduate students.

Differential Tuition is established by the local governing board for graduate programs.
