General Registration Information

Academic Programs (including MD Anderson Programs)
The online schedule of classes, registration dates, and tuition information will be available one to two weeks prior to the start of Registration. It is available by clicking on this link: Registration/Tuition Info . UTLINK is the University's Web-based student record access system.  You can register by clicking on this link: UTLINK. The web url is http://utlink.uth.tmc.edu.

NOTE:  Certain classes require faculty approval and students enrolling in these classes must obtain the approval code from the primary faculty teaching the course.  Classes which require faculty approval have a "Y" in the APPV REQ column in the class schedule.

NOTE:  Academic students who register during regular registration but do not pay tuition or fees on or before the payment deadline will be assessed a $15 Late Payment Fee. Bills will not be mailed. View your bill on UTLINK.

Medical School (MD) and School of Dentistry (DDS)
Students in Medical School MD Program and in the Dental Branch DDS Program are enrolled automatically in the pre-determined curriculum for their school year. Students with holds on their records will not be enrolled until all holds have been cleared.  Students may use UTLINK to check for holds, select optional fees, select an installment payment plan, pay tuition/fees with a Master Card or Visa Card, as well as other services.  Selection of optional fees or the installment plan using UTLINK closes at the end of the second week of the fall term.

NOTE:  MD and DDS students who have not paid tuition and fees by the first day of class will be assessed a $15 Late Registration Fee.  Students who have selected the installment payment plan and have not paid tuition and fees by the first class day will be assessed a $15 Late Registration Fee. A $ 10 late fee is assessed for each installment not paid by the due date. Bills will not be mailed. View your bill on UTLINK.

Electives:  Medical students may add/drop electives through UTLINK up to and including the first day of the month prior to the month in which the class begins.  Dental students may add/drop electives according to the Dental Branch Calendar.
 

Late Registration - For Academic Programs

Late Registration occurs during the first four days of the summer term or during the first week of the fall and spring semesters.  Students registering during late registration will be assessed a $15.00 Late Registration Fee.
