Mission Statement:
The Office of the Registrar is the source of application and registration processing, and student records management for The University of Texas Health Science Center - Houston and MD Anderson School of Health Professions, which presents unique opportunities for contributing to a positive educational experience.
We aspire to be a leader among the service departments within the UTHSC-H and UTMDACC in providing comprehensive, quality service designed to meet the needs of our customers. We will achieve this by focusing on demonstrating Care, Respect, and Concern to each person requesting our services in an effort to maximize their satisfaction and go beyond their expectations.
For students and applicants: we will provide accurate information and guidance in order to facilitate the ongoing concerns of applicants and students, by being informed as a staff and tailoring solutions to the individual's needs.
For prospects: we will furnish printed information in a timely manner, and improve communication with prospects by staying abreast of the policies and procedures of the UTHSC-H, UTMDACC, and the individual schools in order to provide accurate information and a professional first impression.
For schools and HSC administration: we will provide accurate and timely information to support the functions of their offices, and coordinate our efforts with them to achieve the highest level of interdepartmental support.
For external organizations: we will dispense accurate statistical information required by external organizations, by developing procedures that ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
For our department: we will seek to anticipate and coordinate the Office of the Registrar's needs during peak cyclical periods by being informed of the efforts and responsibilities of everyone, and commit ourselves in a spirit of cooperation to the common goal of demonstrating CRC to one another. |
